WHAT IS TAJWEED

Tajweed means to improve, to do better. It cover guidelines on how Arabic alphabets are pronounced , places to elongate, pause, stop, keep going during recitation. It includes characteristics of Alphabets & how they interact with each other.

IMPORTANCE OF TAJWEED:

Qur’an recitation must be taken very seriously. The Holy Qur’an is the word of Allah, and its every syllable is from Allah. The majority of scholars agree that applying the Tajweed rules of the Holy Qur’an to avoid making clear mistakes is an individual obligation upon every Muslim.

OBJECTIVE OF TAJWEED COURSE:

  1. To avoid the error that we normally make in reading.
  2. Try to read the Qur’an in an accent in which it was revealed.
  3. Learned the Tajweed rules in deatil.

2.MADDAH LETTERS

Maddah letters are the vowel of Arabic language. They are three in number such as:

These letters are called Maddah in specific condition:

  1. When wao is followed by Dammah it is called wao Maddah.
  2. When Alif is followed by fatha it is called Alif Maddah.
  3. When Yaa is folowed by kasra it is called Ya Maddah.

3.LEEN LETTERS

There are two Leen letters

When these two letters are followed by Fatha these are called Leen letters and will be pronounce softly.
