Explanation Of Surah Al-Fatiha:
(الحمد لله ربّ العالمين )
The character of this surah is prayer. The prayer begin with the praise of one to whom prayer is addressed. It means that we should prayer in a dignified manner. We must acknowledge the unique position and unmatched excellence
of the one to whom we pray.
We praise someone because of two reasons:
We consider him to be our benefactor
God is worthy of praise on both counts. We should remember the blessings He lavished upon us.
(مالك يوم الدين)
God will be the Lord of the day of judgement. The day when all the mankind will come out of their graves and will be rewarded or punished for their deeds. The description of God as a Lord of day of judgement following the another aspect
of God that He will judge us all, He is so absolutely powerful that on the day of judgement no one will have the power like Him. The man has no authority on that day as Allah has given some authorities to man in this world
(اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ)
The term ibadah is used in three sense:
- Obedience and submission
In this particular context the term carries all the three meanings. In other word we say to God that we worship Him, that we are obedient to Him, and also we are His servants. Ibadah is everything and every action that Allah loves
and He pleased with . t include the ritious that Allah taught us like Salat giving zakat and fasting. It also includes the statements that Allah loves. E.g zikar of Allah and speaking truth. These statements and action could be
hidden and appearant. Zakat and haj is visible. What is hidden ( positive thinking for others).
